Fianal A2 Boards

These are the boards that I will be presenting at the end of the module submission. They show all my finals from all three categories and some of the developmental and structural features.

They have been printed on a water colour paper to give the images and text a nice matte feal

Prints presented in a PDF format

This document shows all my final prints for the module in a bound PDF document. I was enabled to do this by going on a sight called ISSUU.

Detailed Photos

The photos below show some close up photos of my prints. These prints are the mockups that I printed on tracing paper. In these shots you can see the grainyness that would not have been present on my intended medium choice acetate.

Acetate FAILURE!!!

Here are some photos of a print that I did on acetate. This was a special type of acetate called laser film which meant that it was specifically designed for laser printers. However when it came to the printing the printer ended up over heating and also warped the acetate.
In the end I ran out of time and could only use my mock ups to show what was initially intended for my designs.
The fact that I had put a lot of effort into the Illustrations annoyed me and next time I will be sure to print on inkjet acetate down in the Digital Print room.

Mock Up of Category 3 (Fashion) on Tracing Paper

These photos show my architecture designs printed on Tracing paper. They show the individual sheets from several and angles and the three sheets placed on top of each other to show the final designs, this was then also photographed from several angles.

I also placed my design on a light box to highlight the printed areas on the tracing paper.
However I did not feel that it did the Illustrations justice as they looked almost dirty because of the scratched surface of the light box.

Mock Up of Category 2 (Architecture) on Tracing Paper

These photos show my second category in the series, fashion.

Mock Up Cover Designs on Tracing Paper

These photographs show my cover designs for each of the three categories. I was quite pleased with the smart simplicity of the designs and how they looked together. However I would have preferred a jet black black rather than a faded grey and this would have definitely been achieved on acetate.

Category 3 (Fashion) Illustrator Drawings

These are my final designs for the fashion category. I achieved the design by placing my pencil illustrations in Adobe Illustrator. I then used the life trace tool to create the vector and then the live paint tool to fill the artwork with colour.

I also matched the colour of the type to the colour of the various characters clothing.

Mock Up of Category 1 (Public Transport) on Tracing Paper

Below show my designs for the public transport category on tracing paper.
