As it is approaching the end of the year we have been given a brief that challenges us to create a product that helps out the new first years by using the experience we have gained from out first year.
I have chosen to help people moving to yorkshire for the first time from other parts of the country, to understand the yorkshire dialect. I have planned to do this using a humorous tone of voice that will hopefully be engaging to everyone (including people from yorkshire.)
My product will be a visually engaging leaflet with information about Yorkshire, such as their dialect, way of life and other things unique to their dialect such as their phrases and sayings.
included with this will be an audio CD teaching non yorkshire folk how to speak and under stand correct Yorkshire done in a style similar to CDs teaching people basic french for they go abroad to france but hopefully in a funnier way.
