The Festival Range

These pictures show what kind of print media I will be creating for the festival. I mapped the festival out to give me a better idea of were the items would expect to found.
  • Flyers
  • Posters
  • Tickets
  • Flags
  • Wrist Bands
  • T - Shirts

This picture shows the entire festival site.

T-shirts

I thought that It would b good to create something that people could take away with them after the festival had finished. This would also be a good way to further raise money for the cause. (And everyone likes a T-shirt)

Wrist Bands

These would also be items that people could keep after the festival. These items will also be available to people not attending the festival as they are a good way of raising money for charity. I have decided to do this based around their popularity and success for other charities. They could be placed in shops close to the checkouts.

Promotional Material

promotional material is essential in order to create awareness for the event and the charity. These will come in the form of flyers, posters and banners. I will also be creating a design for the tickets as people like to keep them as memorabilia.

Flags

Flags are commonly seen in festival sites and are very popular. This design will mainly be for aesthetic value as people will already be in the festival.

The Festival Name

Originally I was going to call the festival 'Tsunami', however I thought that this was not something that people mat not want to be reminded of and also I didn't think it was that original.

On doing some research I found that the Japanese national flag is called 'Hinomaru' which translates into English as 'Sun Disc'. I thought that this was a very original and appropriate name, especially for a festival in the summer time.
