The Target Audience

I have decided that the festival will be for over 18's only. The main reason for this is because there are a lot more things that have to be considered when putting an event on for minors.

The minimum age for entry into the festival will be 18 years of age.

Now that the age has been established i can take into consideration other aspects of the festival that will affect the target audience.

The Line Up

The line up will also be something that effects the target audience in both terms of the age of the people who will want to go and the style of the groups of people who want to go.

What Kind Of Music?

I would like the festival to appeal to a wide variety of music listeners. It would be a shame if the festival was too focused on one particular style of music as put off a lot of other people and they would not be able to show their support for a good cause.

The easiest way to cater for a wide range of music tastes is to create different stages that play different music.

The Stages

I have decided to divide the music into 3 main stages.

The Electronica Stage

This stage will be compiled of artists who produce electronic music like House, Techno, Breakbeat and Drum and Bass. They will also primarily be Djs.

So Back To The Target Audience...

I have selected artists that have been producing music for about 20 years, so therefor I would expect the audience to range from...
